Color palette and design by Me
Saying that Canva has changed my life isn’t an over exaggeration. There are so many helpful tools, templates, and guides that can make running your own business a little breezier when you use Canva.
If you have never used Canva before, I highly recommend going to their website here, and playing around with the free version. After just a little bit of time on the platform I am sure you’ll be able to see why I think so highly of it.
For this blog you will require the Pro version at minimum which is $12.95/month billed monthly. You can see more about pricing here.
Without further ado…
Navigate to your homepage
In the left hand menu click on “Brand Kit”
On the right side of this page you will see a section called “Brand Fonts and Uploaded Fonts”
At the bottom of these sections click on “Upload a font”
Your computer will prompt you to navigate to your font files
Click on the font file and upload away! Note: Canva will accept both otf and ttf font file types
It’s worth noting that the brand kit is an incredibly helpful tool. In addition to your fonts, you can add your brand’s logo and color palette on this page.
This provides you with a shortcut when you are designing. When you assign a color palette and fonts to your brand, these will show up in the editor while while you create your masterpieces. No more trying to remember the font name or forgetting which shade of blue you used. It’s all right there!
If you can’t tell by now, I LOVE CANVA.
